Be prepared to eat! They serve you very large portions! I always like getting breakfast on my way to work!
This place is the pinnacle of breakfast excellence. I've been coming here with my brothers and parents since I was a kid in the 90's and it has never disappointed. Paul, Tim, Billy and the staff are friendly, funny and work very quickly. The staff here sets the bar for diner culture in America. You owe it to yourself to stop in. Oh and the portions are without a shadow of a doubt, bigger than your hopes and dreams. Try the blueberry pancakes.

This place is great! If you like huge and I mean huge portions this is where to go! It's small and on the weekends be prepared to wait a bit. It's a very old diner with a small addition off the back. The menu is like the portions... lots to choose from. I had a ham western( you can also get a kielbasa western) with potatoes and toast I dare you to finish it!
Went here after several friends were surprised we have lived in the area for several years and never ate there. We looked them up and heard about the generous portions. My wife and I ordered omelettes. The plates had heaping loads of home fries, omelettes were huge. Coffee was a great diner coffee. Serve staff was excellent. It's a small car of a dinner. Seats at the bar or four table with high bar tables. There's a few reminders that you're in an old train car. Loved it. Has a great hometown vibe. Doors slide open like its heritage as a train car.
Good things happen when you venture past the fast food chains and go a a couple miles in from I-390. Sure, this place isn't brand spanking new but, it is clean and well worth any wait you might have. Make a new friend, sit at the counter, and be prepared for omelets that are as big as the plate. Be sure to bring cash and be nice to the team, they are hustling.
Classic American diner in Oxford Mass. HUGE portions that are tasty and hot off the grill which is right in front of you if you sit at the counter. Fast and friendly service. You might need to wait for a table or seat at the counter as this place is tiny. But worth the wait. Ask for a to go box when you order. You are going to need it.
Wow I love Carls. All my friends love carls. When anyone brings up carls the first response is I love carls. The chefs and host were extreme nice. The food was massive. 10/10 experience. Very very good waffle with strawberries and whip cream. Surpassed my expectations. 100% will be back.
